Wide Receiver Terrell Owens always finds work in the National Football League despite being a problem player.

You have to hand it to Terrell Owens.

The National Football League wide receiver continues to find work, despite doing his utmost to screw up his career, and his life.

The events of the past week of Owens life bears that out.

In a surprise move, the Dallas Cowboys released their star wide-receiver on Thursday, despite the fact the owner Jerry Jones stated after the 2008 season that Owens would return.

Jones took two months of soul searching to make his decision and conclude what the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers found out long before.

Despite Owens undeniable talent as a football player, he is not a team player, and is a cancer in the locker room.

For most of his career, Owens has made a habit of bad mouthing his teammates, coached and management and questioning game-day decisions.

The Cowboys season ended on the 17th last week of the season after being blown out by the Philadelphia Eagles in a game Dallas needed to win to make the playoffs.

Terrell Owens signs with Buffalo Bills

Owens agent Drew Rosenhaus was undeterred after Owens was released.

He declared that the receiver would have a new team within the week.

His words came true Saturday, March 7 when the Bullalo Bills signed Owens to a one-year deal worth $6.5 million.

Buffalo is a team that is lacking offensive firepower and could use somebody like Owens to jump start everything.

Owens is capable of doing that. He is a 13-year veteran, a six-time All-Pro and Pro Bowl All-Star, and played well in his only Super Bowl for the Philadelphia Eagles in the team’s 24-21 loss in Super Bowl XXXIX in Jacksonville.

Terrell Owens drafted by 49ers in 1996

Owens career started when he was drafted by the San Franciso 49ers in the third round out of Tennesee-Chattanooga and made his name by filling in for injured Hall-of-Fame receiver Jerry Rice during the 1997 season.

The 49ers were still in their glory years when Owens joined the team coming off five Super Bowl victories between 1982 and 1994 with Hall of fame quarterbacks Joe Montana and Steve Young.

Young played with Owens in his last four seasons before retiring in 1999.

Owens antics start with Jeff Garcia

Jeff Garcia took over as the 49ers quarterback after Young retired and it wasn’t long before Owens started a feud with the young signal caller.

Like he did with Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb and Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, Owens called out Garcia for not getting the ball to him enough.

He even made a reference that Garcia was gay in a Playboy Magazine interview.

Owens fizzles with Eagles and Cowboys

Owens signed as a free agent for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2004 and played with them in their Super Bowl loss to New England that year.

Although Owens played through an injury and had a good game, he called on the Eagles to renegotiate his contract for the following year. The Eagles refused and Owens went on a public tirade blaming the Super Bowl loss on McNabb and coach Andy Reid.

The Eagles eventually told Owens to go home and released him after the 2005 season.

He signed with the Cowboys the following season and spent three seasons there.

Dallas owner Jerry Jones thought he could change Owens.

Jones apparently came to the conclusion he was wrong.
