How good is Peyton Manning? How bad is Rex Grossman? That is what people are talking about leading toward this year's Super Bowl. Who will prove the critics wrong?

Peyton Manning. His name in is now officially legendary. With the Colts finally defeating their arch rivals in Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, Manning has shown he is the definition of what a great NFL quarterback should be, and maybe after February 4 in Miami he will show what it is to be a Super Bowl champion. Indianapolis is roaring with confidence and after the last playoff win, it will be incredibly hard to stop Manning and company's offense Super Bowl Sunday. If the Chicago Bears were ever going to have their defense tested to see how good they truly are, it will be in Dolphin Stadium this Sunday.

Rex Grossman. What a season for the Chicago Bears, but what a disappointment in a promising quarterback. Grossman has definitely had games this season with huge promise and big play after big play, but as the season has wore on, all we have seen is interception after interception. This kid has had no luck and no help from the media, as it has seemed like a weekly routine for Grossman to get bashed in local papers and criticized from all football fans and critics alike. In order for the Bears to win as the underdog, they going to need a big game from Grossman.

If there is any pressure or expectations for failure in this game it is directed right at the Chicago Bears and Rex Grossman. On the positive side for Grossman, if he has the game of his life and takes the Lombardi Trophy out of the hands of the Super Bowl favorite Colts, it could be very well be the start of a whole new career for the four-year quarterback, perhaps a new found confidence and something that Chicago really never had, a dominant quarterback along with the promise of more Super Bowls.
