Parlay Helper: Week 4 NFL PicksThree Strong Selections In Week Four
The Parlay Helper is confident in better a effort after pushing twice and losing one game by a point in Week 3.
Minnesota +3 vs. Green Bay Beware of the letdown game. Green Bay hits the road in Week 4 after a huge home win over San Diego. The Packers have won three in a row behind Brett Favre, who is off to a tremendous start. The problem with Green Bay is that there is no production on the ground. Through three games, their running backs have combined for just 174 yards. The scary part for Green Bay is that Minnesota has the best rushing defense in the league, so expect no improvement from Brandon Jackson or DeShawn Wynn. This isn’t the first time the Packers will live or die by Favre’s arm, but we have seen in recent years how ugly it could get. The Parlay Helper thinks this one has disappointment written all over it for Packer fans. Look for the Minnesota defense to be sharp once again, and to make some big plays. Chester Taylor should be back from his injury to help the cause. Take the home dog to the bank. Minnesota +3. Denver +10 @ Indianapolis Indianapolis hasn’t covered the spread since Week 1. They haven’t closed out their opponents like bettors would have liked. Now Denver is in town, and they are sporting two of the league’s best cornerbacks: Champ Bailey and Dre Bly. It’s no coincidence that Denver also has the league’s top pass defense unit. And Peyton Manning hasn’t put up typical Peyton numbers this season. The Colts’ offense hasn’t been putting together great drives when they have a chance to put a team away late in the game, so 10 points is too much to give here. Nobody likes to bet against the Colts, because this offense is capable of covering any spread. But this isn’t the defense that one would expect Manning to break out against. Cutler, Marshall, Walker, and Henry aren’t too shabby, either. They will keep you in this game. Take the 10. Dallas -13 vs. St. Louis This St. Louis team is in real trouble. They took a beating last week in Tampa Bay, and it only gets tougher for them this week. The Cowboy defense isn’t great right now, but they are coming off an excellent performance against Chicago. We saw it last year, when Tony Romo gets hot, he is hard to stop. Romo will have this team going up and down the field on Sunday; and Marion Barber III is one of the league’s best running backs right now, and he will continue his success vs. the league’s 26th ranked rushing defense. Too many weapons. Take the ‘Boys. Last Week: 0-1-2Season: 3-3-3Parlay Helper: Week 3 NFL Picks
