Now that the division leaders look established, some games will begin to have playoff implications as the NFL kicks off the halfway point of the season.

Last Week: 8-5, Season 47-22.

Cleveland Browns at Chicago Bears

Cleveland can’t be trusted at home, and they certainly can’t be trusted away from home. Despite Chicago having their clock cleaned by the Bengals last week, the Bears will roar this week.

Chicago 28, Cleveland 10.

Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers

The Vikings played much better than anyone expected last week against a good Steeler team. Adrian Peterson continues to play like Earl Campbell and Walter Payton combined. Favre should be on his game again this week.

Minnesota 23, Green Bay 17.

Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys may have saved their season with last week’s win over the Falcons. Seattle is not in Atlanta’s league, and the Boys look healthy and ready to make a push into the playoffs.

Dallas 25, Seattle 19.

Denver Broncos at Baltimore Ravens

While the Broncos continue to make people into believers, the Ravens are a tough team who have been jobbed out of some wins by atrocious calls. There’s no one better than Ray Lewis to offer the Broncos a reality check.

Baltimore 13, Denver 10.

Houston Texans at Buffalo Bills

It’s a skipping record for the Bills once again; the starting quarterback is down (see J.P. Losman, Rob Johnson, Drew Bledsoe) and an unlikely quarterback emerges and leads them to a win (see Doug Flutie, Trent Edwards, Ryan Fitzpatrick). The Bills are ruining their draft status and prolonging the stay of a mediocre head coach once again.

Buffalo 19, Houston 16.

Miami Dolphins at New York Jets

The Jets should be better the second time around against the Dolphins, and the fish are reeling after letting a game slip through their hands against the Saints. Things aren’t always as easy as they seem, however. The Dolphins were far too dominant against the Jets the last time they played to ignore the fact the Jets don’t match up well against them.

Miami 25, New York 14.

San Francisco 49ers at Indianapolis Colts

Mike Singletary only wants winners to play on his team, but Peyton Manning still wears a Colts jersey.

Indianapolis 40, San Francisco 20.

St. Louis Rams at Detroit Lions

It’s been noted the average attention span of a five year old Is four minutes and 25 seconds. That number will drop to under two minutes if they are forced to watch this game.

Detroit 3, St. Louis 0.

Oakland Raiders at San Diego Chargers

Oakland is back to being Oakland, and the Chargers, notorious slow starters, look to be on track once again.

San Diego 30, Oakland 16.

Carolina Panthers at Arizona Cardinals

It’s hard to imagine, but the ageless Kurt Warner looks to have his Cards in order as they push to make the playoffs again. Warner deserves to be in the Hall of Fame once his career is over, and the Cardinals could return to the Super Bowl if they continue to play the way they did against New York.

Arizona 27, Carolina 21.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans

Jacksonville is spotty this year, and the Titans have been a disaster. Jeff Fisher should have some new wrinkles installed in the defense after being shelled by the Patriots 59-0.

Tennessee 17, Jacksonville 10.

New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles

With huge implications, this could be the game of the week. The Eagles were lucky to get by a Redskins squad in week 7 that is a total mess. The Giants have some issues as well, but the Eagle offense still looks suspect.

New York 28, Philadelphia 23.

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints

Atlanta is a good team, but the Saints look like they can just turn it on when they want to and win. The Saints can beat you running, passing, or on defense.

New Orleans 39, Atlanta 32.
