Experts, spectators and even Broncos fans expected a horrible season, but 6 games into it and the Denver Broncos are still undefeated.

Everyone is shocked at the Bronco's success so far this season. With the loss of Coach Shanahan and quarterback Jay Cutler, people expected very few wins from the Broncos. Shanahan served as the head coach for the last 14 years of his 20 years with the Broncos and brought them to two Superbowl victories with John Elway. Jay Cutler seemed to have potential as a quarterback, but has yet to really prove his worth with the Chicago Bears this season. The Bronco's preseason games only caused fans more agony as they only won 1 preseason game and didn't even score over 20 points in any preseason game. The 2009 season looked incredibly grim for Denver.

Broncos Season at Week 6

The Broncos just barely pulled off their first win against the Bengals. Fans rejoiced, but still had dim hope for the rest of the season. But they continued on their winning rampage to beat the Browns, Raiders, Cowboys, Patriots and Chargers. New QB Orton finally stopped throwing so many interceptions. Now 6 games into the season and the fans are pumped; many are even expecting the Broncos to go to the superbowl.

Broncos Previous Super Bowl Seasons

The Broncos have started the season 5-0 three times in the past and everytime they went to the Super Bowl and now they have 6 wins under their belt. They have the number one defense in the league and are one of only two undefeated teams in their conference, the other being the Colts, and one of four undefeated teams in the whole league, along with the Saints and Vikings. Despite their winning streak some experts still expect them to fail; a large majority of the picks made on ESPN were for the Chargers to beat the Broncos.

New Coach Josh McDaniels

When new coach Josh McDaniels began the feud with Cutler and subsequently traded him to the Bears for Orton, many fans were infuriated. Many people wanted McDaniels fired. This website was a blog dedicated to firing McDaniels. However, many now think that McDaniels has proved himself. That website has now changed from blogging about wanting him fired to blogging about keeping him with Denver. The front page of the website states, "A Denver Broncos Blog which used to be about firing Coach Josh McDaniels, but he has proven himself as coach and leader of the Broncos. So now, let's go ahead and keep him." It is obvious that after the preseason the coach gained the respect and loyalty of the players, and now he's gaining the respect and loyalty from fans as well. The website even have an apology written out to Josh McDaniels on the front page.

The Future for the Broncos

The road ahead of Denver isn't going to be easy. This week is their Bye week, and then they have to play some difficult teams including the Ravens and Steelers. December 13th is the date when the Broncos will play the Colts, who are also undefeated so far. Fans can only hope that this winning streak continues.
